i-landing vs. Bonfire
Bonfire is now Euna Procurement, and it is the platform a Canadian public sector RFP most often names. It is also sold the way enterprise software is sold. Here is the honest split.
What Bonfire Is
Bonfire was founded in Kitchener, Ontario in 2012 and acquired by Euna Solutions in 2019. Bonfire, IonWave, EqualLevel and DemandStar have since been combined into a single offering called Euna Procurement, and Euna reports serving more than 3,600 organizations across North America across its procurement, budgeting, payments and grants products.
It is a full-cycle public procurement suite: strategic sourcing, contracting, compliant purchasing and supplier engagement, aimed squarely at cities, counties, school districts, higher education and other public entities with a procurement office.
Euna does not publish pricing. Cost, contract length and implementation scope come out of a quote, which means a fair comparison has to leave several cells on this page blank rather than invent them.
Side by Side
A dash means the vendor does not publish that detail. We would rather leave it blank than guess on their behalf.

Which Is Right for You?
These are not the same product aimed at the same buyer. The split is cleaner than most comparison pages admit.
Bonfire is best for
- Cities, counties, school districts and higher education with a dedicated procurement office
- Organizations that need contracting, purchasing, payments and budgeting in one suite
- Teams that want a guided implementation and a named account team
- Buyers who need a vendor already carried on a public sector cooperative agreement
i-landing is best for
- Teams running formal bids without a procurement department behind them
- Organizations that need to be running a real solicitation this week
- Buyers who want every supplier to participate at zero cost
- Teams that want to build a real bid before they talk to anyone in sales
Weighted scoring through to award, end to end
The cheapest bid comes second here. That is the point of weighted evaluation, and the scoring that produced it is on the record.
When Bonfire Is the Right Call
If your obligations run past sourcing — contract lifecycle management, requisition-to-purchase-order, invoice approval, budget or grant administration — Euna Procurement is built for that and i-landing is not. We cover the solicitation through to the award and stop there, on purpose.
The same goes for procurement offices that need a formal implementation, structured change management and a vendor already available through a cooperative purchasing vehicle. That is a real requirement in public procurement, and a self-serve free plan is not an answer to it.
Where i-landing fits is the organization one step before that: running five to a few hundred bids a year, needing them open, sealed, scored on published criteria and fully logged, and not in a position to run a six-figure implementation to get there.
